Today, half of the world's children live in extreme  poverty. 

They labor hard in factories, in fields, on the streets selling for long hours, some are sold into the sex trade, some exploited by their own families who are burdened by the fight for survival, some are orphaned by AIDS, war, mass genocide...

These children deserve a chance at life.
